Talaud Islands

A group of islands of northeast Indonesia northeast of Sulawesi. The islands first came under Dutch control in 1677.

Nearly 700 homes as well as office buildings, schools and health clinics were damaged in the remote Talaud Islands in North Sulawesi province, local government spokesman Manurat said.
2 magnitude quake occurred at a depth of about 10km near the Talaud islands north of Sulawesi.
