Retinoids Side Effects on Acne Oral ingestion of vitamin A has been known to cause teratogenic effects in the unborn.
There is no epidemiologic evidence today showing that occupational or daily life exposures to microwaves do any harm to human reproductive processes (3), but experimental animal studies have suggested that microwaves can produce intra-uterine effects including teratogenic effects.
An apparent teratogenic effect was associated with both ionic liquids, with only the offspring of treated mice exhibiting certain uncommon morphological defects, such as craniorachischisis, ectopia cordis, and ablepharia.
