Byline: ANI London, Aug 13 (ANI): Researchers at the Princeton University claim to have set a new record of packing the most tetrahedral - solid figures with four triangular faces - into a volume.
In addition, HyperMesh, Altair's product for finite element pre-processing, includes several new algorithms for tetrahedral, hexahedral, 'mesh flow' and mid-surface meshing.
The key is that a changing boundary between two layers passes through the inside of the original tetrahedral mesh, creating partitions into new finite-element shapes, but without altering the original finite elements.
