Treas·ure Island  (trzhr)
An artificial island of San Francisco Bay in western California. Built for the Golden Gate International Exposition in 1939, it was a U.S. Navy base from 1941 to 1997.

The Benbow Inn, where Sarah Hawkins and her son Jim live, looks like an 18th century Inn, but it has a nuclear stove and windows which produce TV-like images of fields of flowers instead of the real view.
As a single parent of a troubled teen and the landlady of the Benbow Inn, Sarah never has a second to herself.
