Sources said initial interrogation from the foreigners are in progress and information regarding their visit to Sukkur are being received, while concerned officials have been informed in this regard.
MIRPUR (AJK), August 08, 2009 (Balochistan Times): In Azad Jammu & Kashmir, security has been beefed up to ensure complete safety and protection of the foreigners including Chinese engineers and other workers engaged in various AJK-based vital projects of national importance including the under-construction Mangla Dam raising project in Mirpur district and Neelam-Jhelum Hydel and other similar projects in Muzaffarabad district, official sources said.
The foreigners were held for having no legal documents, the ministry said in a statement.
