OK, thesemay not allowus tomake the great leap forward but they are players of the ilkwith whom DavidMoyes has had success in the past - think Joleon Lescott, Tim Cahill and Phil Jagielka.
Unfortunately, the initial signs in the great leap forward have not been promising and an initial opportunity for the new owners has been missed.
The region was severely affected by the 1959-1961 Chinese famine, which was driven by bad weather and the after math of the Great Leap Forward.
