esigned in Younan Xia's lab, the cage releases carefully titrated amounts of a drug only near the tissue that is the drug's intended target, thus maximizing the drug's beneficial effects while minimizing its side effects.
Patients randomized to quetiapine were started on 25 mg/day and in theory titrated to at least 400 mg/day if tolerated, and up to a maximum of 800 mg/day.
I did a review on my own patients' charts (n = 278), comparing the titrated sleep lab pressure with what I calculated.
