Japanese molecular biologist. He won a 1987 Nobel Prize for discovering how certain cells of the immune system can genetically rearrange themselves to produce diverse antibodies.

Tokyo, Japan, Jan 19, 2006 - (JCN) - Hokkai Holdings (TSE: 5902) has announced that Nihon Canpack, one of its group companies, has newly built the Nihon Canpack Tonegawa plant and the plant has begun production operations.
Friday due to decreased water levels at eight dams in the upper Tonegawa River, according to the land ministry.
