Adding the Caterpillar Challenger machines to our brand line-up puts AGCO in a strong position to respond to the growing customer need for high-horsepower track-type tractors that can maintain more efficient traction under full loads than conventional rubber-tire tractors of similar size," says Randy Hoffman, AGCO's vice president, sales and marketing, North America.
It has sold giant Caterpillar machinery as large as a 215,000-pound track-type tractor, a 196,000-pound wheelloader and a 187,000-pound excavator.
With more than 250 pieces of equipment from a number of manufacturers up for sale - including a variety of excavators, lifts and telehandlers, loaders, graders and track-type tractors - the Omaha event is expected to draw bidders from across the United States and around the world.
