This vessel historically was first built during 1405-1435 known as Zheng He treasure ships in the fleet of Chinese Admiral Zheng.
It is here, in late summers, that the Spanish treasure ships gathered from around the Americas to sail as a convoy to the Old World, she was the hub of trade.
Known as the shipwreck-diving capital of the Atlantic, the island is surrounded by more than 400 vessels dating back five centuries, including 16th century Spanish treasure ships, four-masted schooners, and modern-day freighters.
