A syndrome characterized by debilitating fatigue and a combination of flulike symptoms such as sore throat, swollen lymph glands, low-grade fever, headaches, and muscle pain or weakness. Also called chronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndrome.

He is the senior author of the landmark studies "Effective Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia: a Placebo-Controlled Study" and "Effective Treatment of CFS and Fibromyalgia with D-Ribose.
Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome As in many chronic illnesses, specific treatments that can remove the underlying cause or causes of CFS are unknown, although it can be very helpful to treat the symptoms.
These results show that repeated thermally therapy may be a great method for the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
