Considering the information gap in this area of research and, based on the fact that Trigonella foenumgraecum (TFG) and Allium sativum (AS) extracts were able to ameliorate thyroxine-induced hyperglycaemia in rats individually (Tahiliani and Kar, 2002), a study was made to evaluate possible synergistic effects of these two extracts.
