Japan's key defender Marcus Tulio Tanaka has decided to leave his J-League side Urawa Reds for a club overseas, ahead of his World Cup challenge, a press report said on Friday.
8/4/2009 6:56:14 AM Japan defender Tulio has put the boot into his J-League team Urawa Reds, blasting the "sad" failure of club officials to sign any big-name players.
Adelaide United took a giant stride towards their first AFC Champions League final on Wednesday but there was stalemate in Japan where Gamba Osaka and Urawa Reds played out a 1-1 draw.
