Previously, the church was St Andrew's Church and during the recent work on the building, it was discovered that the internal walls and ceilings were decorated with murals which it is believed were created by the famous English Victorian artist Charles Voysey.
Claire was due to go on to South Africa, where her mother Colleen is from, and volunteer for the Kathleen Voysey Health Clinic and Soup Kitchen in Durban, where she had worked before.
