French-born American editor and fashion expert. She was editor in chief of Vogue (1963-1971) and a special consultant to the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1972-1989).

Anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America has named Anderson & Vreeland (A&V) as its distributor for the sale of anilox rolls to the narrow web, wide web and corrugated sectors for certain areas of the Western USA.
Noting that the Sahara conflict has aggravated relations between the region's countries, Vreeland underlined that King Mohammed VI "has devised a proposal for granting autonomous status to this region, and it behooves all members of the United Nations Security Council to support it.
She could hardly assume red, since Vreeland so thoroughly made it hers.
