Haefner, a recognized expert on the subject, and professor of obstetrics and gynecology and codirector of the University of Michigan Center for Vulvar Diseases.
Hope Haefner, director of the University of Michigan Center for Vulvar Diseases, and her colleagues have recently released a guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of vulvodynia, or pain in the vulva, which is often worsened by intercourse.
Haefner, director of the University of Michigan Center for Vulvar Diseases in Ann Arbor, recruited a panel of vulvar disease experts to draft the guideline at the request of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).
