There is no national organization of this movement, and one or two energetic young men could start to call themselves a warrior society and attract a following almost anywhere, if there is a plausible case that First Nations' hunting, fishing, or land rights have been ignored.
This cultural imperative was contradictory to Indo-European warrior society, which dictated that a soldier who fled the battlefield without a retreat order was a coward.
Groups like the Native Warrior Society, in fact, strongly oppose the Olympics and have every intention of making their opposition known.
