The celebrations in Islamabad, spearheaded by IST, included lectures, a workshop on space technology, Space technology awareness Walk, space technology symposium, essay and story writing competitions, declamation contests, poetry recitation competition, painting and Poster competitions, water rocket and aero-modelling competitions, astronomy night, and a grand space family fair.
These include: A kite making session at 2pm on August 27 and a water rocket making workshop on August 29, at Birkenhead Park.
