In the 1970s it was the Watergate hearings chaired by Senator Sam Ervin that set the stage for NixonAAEs ejection from the White House.
He had a lot going for him: a former Tennessee senator, a well-known film and television actor, a place in history as the minority counsel during the Watergate hearings.
During the Watergate hearings, nobody talked about when something happened, it was always "at that point in time.
