1. A town of central Belgium near Brussels. Napoleon met his final defeat in the Battle of Waterloo (June 18, 1815).
2. A city of northeast Iowa northwest of Cedar Rapids. First settled in 1845, it is a trade center in an agricultural region. Population: 66,000.
