7/30/2009 9:01:45 PM Israel has admitted to using white phosphorus during its war on the Gaza Strip earlier this year, but says it did so in accordance with international law.
The Daily Telegraph quoted Francis, as saying: "Today, specifically, we've heard news that the Sri Lankan government is using chemical weapons, white phosphorus bombs, on our people.
KABUL (PAN): Already under fire for civilian deaths, the US military has vehemently rejected claims that it may have used the incendiary chemical white phosphorus in last weeks deadly raids in western Afghanistan.
