RF: The Kellogg Foundation was established in 1930 by cereal industry pioneer, Will Keith Kellogg, who believed the best thing he could do with his money was invest it in people.
The name came from the French pots they sold it in and which are still pictured on the glass jars familiar today Cornflakes Health-mad Will Keith Kellogg discovered the cornflake while trying to find a nutritious non meat food for hospital patients.
Kellogg's was founded by Will Keith Kellogg after he invented a new type of breakfast food in Michigan in 1894.
