So even if you are using a very simple editing program like Windows Movie Maker that will not really generate anything too spectacular, you can buy some and import them into the program.
300 is a lot to waste when Windows Movie Maker would have been a better choice for him and it is free.
Also there is one software available with Windows OS which is Windows movie maker, which assists in making videos.
