This beverage became a favorite among the dwellers in the valley of the Yangtse-Kiang on the fourth and fifth century.
Granville Davies, travelling head groom to the winning trainer, rode the winners of about 200 races for Bradley in the 1980s, among them that prolific winner Yangtse-Kiang, at a time when the Chepstow handler was more into jumpers than sprinters.
He won 24 chases and set five course records, while the likes of Yangtse-Kiang netted 17 races.
