Cardiac Rehab Boosts Survival

Only about one-fifth of all heart patients undergo cardiac rehabilitation following a heart attack or bypass operation, however, research suggests that such treatment significantly reduces a person\'s chances of suffering another heart attack or dying in the next three to four years. Furthermore, the data show that the more rehab sessions a patient attends, the lower this risk is.
