The May 1968 Protests

May 1968 is the name given to a series of protests and a general strike that nearly led to the collapse of the de Gaulle government in France. Entente Cordiale Signed by France and UK (1904)

People use a small bamboo ladle to pour the tea, made of hydrangea leaves, over the head of the statue. The custom is supposed to date from the 7th century, when perfume was used, as well as tea.
