Alexander of Tu·nis
(to͞o′nĭs, tyo͞o′-), First Earl Title of Harold Rupert Leofric George Alexander. 1891-1969. British field marshal who during World War II led maneuvers at Dunkirk and in Burma, North Africa, and Italy.
