There were 15 families of insects: Carabidae, Chelonariidae, Chrysomelidae, Dytiscidae, Histeridae, Passalidae, Scarabaeidae, Tenebrionidae, Blattidae, Apidae, Apoidae, Formicidae, Vespidae, Termitidae and Gryllotalpidae used by sun bear in their diet.
Both were more common than Blattidae cockroaches (in 74 percent of homes).
(Blattodea: Blattidae) was nearly twice as great in spermatozoa removed from spermathecae (1,050 undulations/min) of females as those removed from the seminal vesicles (600 undulations/min) of males.
