Here and there we stumble upon items made of plastic materials that most of us have never heard of, such as Bois Durci and kopal resin.
For example, Bois Durci, an early plastic that dates to the 1850s, is a mixture of sawdust, usually of a hardwood such as ebony or rosewood, and blood or egg.
