THE PARENTS of a girl who went to the doctor with crippling headaches were told to give her Calpol - weeks before she was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
She explained: "He woke with a really high temperature in the early hours of Monday morning (May 22) and we gave him Calpol and Neurofen which took it down a bit but it still wasn't below 38.

Boots charges PS3.50 for a 100ml bottle of Infant Calpol but Healthpoint Children's Paracetamol Suspension with the same active ingredients is PS1.20 at Wilko.
