(kärl′tən), Steven Norman Known as "Steve." Born 1944. American baseball player. As a left-handed pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies (1972-1986), he became the first pitcher to win four Cy Young Awards (1972, 1977, 1980, and 1982).
