Chinese jujube (Ziziphus jujuba Mill.) is a native plant of China that belongs to the genus Ziziphus in the Rhamnaceae family.
There are very few plants or trees which are admired by the Chinese as the jujube tree due to its medications [6] resulting from treatment with extracts from the Chinese jujube.
