(sē-lo͝or′ə-sôr′)n. Any of various theropod dinosaurs of the diverse group Coelurosauria of the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods, having a stiff tail, hingelike ankle, usually long forelimbs, and sometimes featherlike structures, and including oviraptor and T. rex.
