Con`val`la`ma´rin

    (kǒn`văl`lå`mā´rĭn)
n.1.(Chem.) A white, crystalline, poisonous substance, regarded as a glucoside, extracted from the lily of the valley (Convallaria Majalis). Its taste is first bitter, then sweet.
