(dā′jē-hä′)n. pl. Dhegiha or
Dhe·gi·has 1. A branch of the Siouan language family comprising the Omaha, Ponca, Osage, Kansa, and Quapaw languages.
2. A member of any of the peoples speaking a language of this branch.
