With 21 hotel brands across the region, each designed to serve the personalities of
different types of travellers, Marriott International knows the importance of individualised experiences.
"We want to attract
different types of travellers and those who prefer to travel using cruise ships," he said.
"What you're really doing is actually adding the ability for
different types of travellers to travel to your destination," he explained.
These packages cater to
different types of travellers with varied budgets and needs.
By customised I don't mean just special packages for
different types of travellers such as the Senior Citizen Club; customising a holiday can mean putting a country on your plate, done to your liking, with the right amount of seasoning, flavours, complete with your choice of side dish.
The study led by Economic and Social Research Council and the Technology Strategy Board aimed to discover how the transport industry focuses on these two
different types of travellers.
In 1888 six statues were erected, showing
different types of travellers. There was a tourist, an emigrant, a student on a field trip, a commercial traveller, a honeymoon couple and--again--a tutor and his student on the Grand Tour.
