A cylindrical battery-powered device consisting of a liquid-filled cartridge with a heating element that vaporizes a mixture of chemicals, typically containing propylene glycol or glycerol (or both), nicotine, and flavorings, allowing the user to inhale the aerosol vapor in the manner of a cigarette.
