Fresh fennel, also known as Sweet Anise, Finnochio, Florentine Fennel, and
Florence Fennel is an aromatic vegetable, garnish, and flavoring.
Top performers include Carrots Paris Atlas and Amsterdam Forcing 3, Lettuce Barcelona, Tomato Roma and
Florence Fennel.
Other seeds being sown now - hollyhocks, sweet williams, wallflowers and vegetables such as Chinese greens and

Florence fennel plucked from the hotel's kitchen garden.
The other kind of fennel--which also has ferny tops, only shorter--is known as
