In subhepatic position, the patient have pain in the right
hypochondriac region. From various positions of vermiform appendix we can understand the possible outcome of the appendicitis, specifically location of site of pain.
The clinical examination revealed a huge palpable abdominal mass occupying most of the epigastric and right
hypochondriac region.
Postoperatively the patient had a slow recovery with a small fluid collection in right
hypochondriac region, right lumbar region and hypogastrium that resolved in the following weeks.
