The study, titled 'Boosting the immune system, from science to myth: analysis the
infosphere with Google', is published by Frontiers in Medicine.
There were two big trends going on in the data analytics world at that time: Hadoop, which was the first open-source big data platform, and a product IBM had built, originally for the intelligence communities, called
InfoSphere Streams, which provided stream-based computing that could handle extremely high volumes of data in near real time.
It's not clear who played which role because the
infosphere is full of disinformation.
When these surges happen, word spreads quickly across the global
infosphere, through social media platforms like Reddit, Twitter, and Facebook, creating a tidal wave of people rushing in to buy out of fear of missing out - or 'FOMO' in slang.
To Alvin Toffler (1980), the Internet revolution has tremendously conditioned society into an '
infosphere' in which technology driven information and communication have increasingly changed the social, political, economic and work environments in the world.
It was Floridi who coined the term "the

Infosphere in relation to the ability of elaboration of the brain," so instant reactions are demanded, with little or no time for thoughtful reflection.
In response, they suggested three coexisting information realms: cybersphere,
infosphere, and noosphere.
These principles are: (1) Entropy ought not to be caused in the
infosphere. (2) Entropy ought to be prevented in the
infosphere.
