THIS collection of 19 Stone Age axes made from porcellanite were found at Danesfort on the Malone Road in Belfast.
Budding archaeologists can investigate where our ancestors chipped away at the mountain's porcellanite - the hardest stone - to make axe heads for chopping hunting, and even export.
Stone artefact types include numerous small flakes and large pestles, and a few mortars and edge-ground stone axes, made from a variety of materials including quartz, quartzite, sandstone, porcellanite, tuff and dolerite.
