Grey's coat of arms appears on folio 8v, accompanying an illustration of a scribe in a monastery writing the text which precedes the
Proheme. The patrons themselves appear in the bottom margin of the illustration preceding Chapter 1 on folio 12v.
Bellenden's translation was published in 1536 as The History and Chronicles of Scotland, prefaced by an original poem entitled A
Proheme to the Cosmographe that was later reprinted separately under the various titles of Vertue and Vyce and An Allegory of Virtue and Delyte.
