Sabbat Foundation welcomed the guests and the poets Akbar Khan Niazi, Musarat Khan, Mohammad Irfan, Nusrat Yab, Tariq Mehmood, Dr Mazhar Iqbal, Amjad Harral, Samina Tabbasum, Farhana Ali, Jia Qureshi, Sabeen Younis, Gul-e-Nazuk, Khaliq ur Rehman, Abdul Qadir Tabban and Ali Ahmed Qamar presented their poetry.
They will then celebrate Candlemas on February 2, also known as
Sabbat Festival, which celebrates blood, animal and human sacrifice.
The symphony lasts about 45 minutes and is divided into 5 movements: Raveries - Passions (Daydreams - Passions, Un bal (A ball), Scane aux champs (Scene in the country), Marche au supplice (March to the scaffold), Songe d'une nuit de
sabbat (Dream of a witches' Sabbath).
