Bring back the role of a State Enrolled Nurse (SEN).
UKIP would reinstate the State Enrolled Nurse. This would utilize the current pool of auxiliary staff, allowing them to work and train on the wards whilst gaining this accreditation, and would negate the 'too posh to wash' attitude of some graduates highlighted in various NHS scandals up and down the country.
Two levels of qualification were introduced: the SEN (State Enrolled Nurse) alongside the SRN (State Registered Nurse).
