Tai Lake near Trofarth, now its most popular still water.
FLYFISHING expert Derek Turner held a casting session for members at
Tai lake, Trofarth.
For centuries, the water that nourished 3,000 villagers had cleansed itself, filtering through the reeds of
Tai Lake.
It will feature learn-to-fly-fish sessions at
Tai Lake and all fly rods and tackle will be provided.
First sessions is on Sunday, May 7, 10am at
Tai Lake, Trofarth.
Improvement of facilities at
Tai Lake, Trofarth, has also borne fruit.
Tai Lake, at Trofarth near Llangernyw, is producing an average take of 2.7 fish per-head, per day.
Tai Lake continues to fish well for a rod average of 2.5, with Derek Davies taking a fish of 7lb.
The club has received a generous donation of used ski matting from Llandudno Ski Centre, to be used at
Tai Lake for new car park and to reinforce lakeside areas.
