Granted that Roberts' theocentricism and, sometimes quite conspicuously, his christocenticism took a major hand in setting the agenda for discussion of the interrelatedness of psychotherapy (and its seasoned partner psychoanalysis) and Christian theology, nevertheless, he is eager to demonstrate that a mature theological methodology would and should incorporate psychological components in its concept of the human person.
