Alphameric Solutions Limited, or ASL, to Orbis Holdings, a fully-owned subsidiary of interactive TV applications provider NDS Group, after its shareholders cleared the deal on 25 May 2010.
The defendants are Amalgamated Racing (AMRAC), consisting of 31 of the UK's 59 racecourses and betting shop infrastructure provider
Alphameric, which has set up Turf TV to provide exclusive coverage of races from venues such as Ascot, Newmarket, Aintree, Goodwood and Cheltenham.
