Appears that a
bit stock could be attached to the upper end of the floating shaft (above the knob) and there is about a 3/8-inch-square hole in the base of this shaft that would probably receive a special tool.
Additional characters, while a
bit stock, are also well drawn and sufficiently distinct--which is important because there are so many of them.
