In a highway roadcut 1 kilometer west of the Yellow Lake Pumping Station near Olalla, British Columbia, the rare zeolite
brewsterite was found in very fine (for the species) specimens during the 1970's, and there have been intermittent collecting revivals since then.
Barium-dominant
brewsterite occurs in cavities in prehnite at locality 97, where it forms pale yellow to colorless pinacoidal crystals and aggregates to 1 mm associated with prehnite, quartz, diopside, calcite, wollastonite and microcline.
A large number of microcrystals of
brewsterite were found in a prospect of the Southern Vinoren area in 1994.
