co-ops not only make life better for their members, but for all the other people in a
co-op's sphere of influence.

co-op buys the food from a wholesaler in Tonyrefail and there are a number of similar groups around South Wales including in Tylorstown, Rhondda, Lewistown, Bridgend and Aberfan, among others.
In the case of a
co-op, this section permits the corporation to deduct real estate taxes it pays relating to the houses or apartment building it owns.
"Cooperatives can enable African Americans to have more control of their income, wealth creation, and work situation--particularly if it's a worker-owned

co-op owners do not realize that, under a master deed, they may be responsible for covering the cost of damage to the interior portions of their unit: kitchen cabinetry, appliances, bathroom fixtures, flooring, interior walls, ceilings, windows, exterior doors and electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
In a bid to remain in the two-bedroom unit in the Pensa Co-operative Housing Association, Elizabeth Hansen petitioned the court to overturn an eviction notice from the coop's Board of Directors, saying she has the right, as a beneficiary of her late mother's interest in the
co-op, to continue to occupy the two bedroom residential unit.
